More than 86 million Americans have Pre-diabetes, meaning that the body’s blood sugar levels are higher than normal, but not to the levels to be diagnosed with diabetes. Fortunately pre-diabetes can be reversed through lifestyle changes such as increased physical activity and weight loss, thereby reducing the chance of developing type-2 diabetes.
